One of the things that made me give up on AOR radio was how lame it got by the late 70's . Out here, they ignored the New Wave/Punk stuff, except for the most commercial . And their version of "Classic Rock" had become so restricted . In L.A, the Program Directors took more and more freedom away from the DJs . It had become predicable, and boring .
Thank you for the interest in this 1986 trip, but I think I will end it with the four BCT shows . It is a good break point, as they did take a week and a half off ( and initially seem a bit better when the resumed ) , AND , I want to listen to some other era for a bit .
